Showcase

The project scope includes the repair and/ or replacement of 6 damaged playgrounds around Darwin.  Included in the works were the removal and disposal of existing equipment, preparation earthworks, supply, and installation of new hardscaping, soft-scaping and playground equipment.

Our team consisting of 3 labourers and 1 supervisor commenced with the ordering of the new playground equipment to allow for the lead times that may delay the works.  During the lead time the existing equipment was removed and disposed of, and earthworks completed in preparation for the installation of the new playground equipment, hardscaping, soft scaping.  The final component of completing the works was the installation of the new shade structure over the dedicated area.

The project was completed on time due to the successful coordination between the earthworks, equipment delivery, and installation.  Variations were applied for additional work which included rock excavations and additional shade structures.  Considering the allowances for the variations the project was completed and delivered on time and budget.

Site safety and WHS were applied on site and the project was completed without any incidents.
